Vinko Tosevski

My career was born at the intersection of two worlds: my formal training in biology and my personal passion for computers and algorithms. Before computational biology became what it is today, this intersection made me a "data-savvy scientist" and anchored me deeply in experimental medicine, where biological domain knowledge intertwines with statistical rigor to make sense of heterogeneous human data.

Over the past decade at the forefront of molecular profiling for drug development, I've observed a persistent paradox. The field now possesses an unprecedented toolbox of assays and algorithms, yet the impact on drug development still feels underwhelming. The bottleneck is no longer a lack of components, but the interplay between them. We have the pieces; we are just not yet good enough at wiring them together to achieve impactful results.

I founded TransAnalitica to bring exactly this expertise to the table: a thorough understanding of the individual components—biology, assays, data, and algorithms—combined with the experience to integrate them for real-world impact. I choose to partner with small and mid-size biotechs because this is where I find creativity and momentum to strike the perfect balance needed to pave the way to new medicines.
